Hello Roxbury Band Families,
It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for… band camp rules and regulations! Well, not really that exciting, but necessary for the times we are dealing with. A lot of work has been put into this document and into the procedures to keep everybody safe, so please read it all carefully.
- Before participating in the season regardless of camp participation, all students must fill out the COVID-19 Questionnaire, linked here. To avoid any potential confusion, the parent should be filling this out for the student, and if the student is attending camp, it must be done before Saturday.
- Every day of camp, before 4pm, students must have the COVID-19 Athlete DAILY Pre-Screening Questionnaire filled out by a parent or guardian. This link will be found in the file discussed in the next point. Please do NOT fill out the above link every day, that is not what we are looking for in daily preparation and you will be asked to re-do it. Students may not participate without filling out this form. Once again, you can find the link in the Google Doc linked below under the Pre-Rehearsal/Drop Off category.
- The following document contains the rehearsal protocols for band camp rehearsal. As stated above, please read every detail carefully! We (the staff) will be there helping the students every step of the way, but everything in this list must be followed to avoid the possibility of having to send a student home, or worse, some or all of the band.
