The Honors Wind Symphony is the premier instrumental performing ensemble at RHS. Conducted by Mr. Conrad, the HWS pursues the highest standards and is determined to bring its audiences the finest wind repertoire. Having received critical acclaim from conductors and composers from across the country, the HWS is proud to have represented New Jersey in the 2008, 2012, and 2016 MFA National Concert Band Festival and 2008 Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic. To date, the RHS Honors Wind Symphony is the only concert band from New Jersey to have been selected to perform at the Midwest Clinic. In 2013 the Roxbury band program was awarded the prestigious Sudler Flag of Honor. They are the only school band program from NJ to receive this award. Recently the Roxbury High School HWS was a state level winner in the 2015 Mark of Excellence Recording competition.
